The Mustangs captured the program's first title in 2023 with a 33-0 shutout of Green Canyon, then repeated in 2024 with a 57-55 triple-overtime win over Spanish Fork — the largest comeback in Utah state-final history. Both titles came under head coach Wayne Alofipo.

In just its fourth season, Crimson Cliffs reached the state final, falling 30-14 to rival Desert Hills — the first of three consecutive 4A title-game appearances (2022-2024) and part of five straight trips to at least the semifinals (2021-2025).
